- Change lights, colors and textures – You can change colors and textures and his influence over the whole scene including raytraced reflections, refractions and GI bleeding.
- Renderer engine independent – It don’t handles real 3D data, 3D meshes are not needed anymore, you can share your project without share your meshes! It only takes some pre-rendered images and some passes of our (fast) Modo 501 pass or MR special shader. Colimo uses 2D data as input (hdr or exr files preferred), so is renderer independent.
- Fully GPU accelerated – all the process is made in your GPU through 32 bit internal buffers using the size of the view port, but your images can be saved in full input size.
- It uses fixed size view port, but when an image is saved it`s done using the full input size.
Unfortunately if your don’t use Modo 501, a special pass in Mental Ray is required, so you need to have it installed too (the pass comes with the installation package and is needed for work with Maya, 3ds Max and Softimage). Thea Render support is planned, so it will be compatible with Sketchup, Blender and Cinema4D.
