Autodesk Labs разработиха нов плъгин за AutoCAD, наречен AutoCAD Quick Send to 3ds Max. Той е безплатен и ви позволява да зареждате .dwg чертежи и файлове в 3ds Max директно от AutoCAD, без да е нужно да използвате командата import или пък File Link Manager. Ако използвате AutoCAD за изграждането на вашите 3D модели, чрез този инструмент ще имате възможността да прехвърлите в Max всички материали, светлини и камери, които сте направили. Прехвърлените материали са подходящи за рендиране с Mental Ray. Освен това всички промени, които правите по файла в AutoCAD автоматично се обновяват и в Max.

Autodesk Labs have developed a new plugin for AutoCAD, called AutoCAD Quick Send to 3ds Max.
